Happy Summer! Welp, it’s that time of year… wedding season! Between the invitations for a bunch of fall + winter weddings + all the wedding day details for our summer couples, we have been busy bees around here! Today, we are taking a break from the madness to write about one of our favorite couples + all their fun stationery!
Sometimes you just meet with clients + it just clicks! This basically sums up my first consultation with Claire + Dave. They are really fun, light hearted and joyful people and my goal was for this personality to really shine through their stationery! Our consultation went on for over 2+ hours (cause we had so much fun!) + I couldn’t wait to get started on bringing their vision to life.
We started with their save the dates that told their San Francisco love story through a custom illustrated storyboard. This fun + whimsical vision was continued on into their wedding invitations. Their invitations included gold foiling, watercolor envelope liners, RSVP postcards and caricature details booklets + belly bands. We later heard from them that many of their friends said, “your invitations are so you!” As a designer, that is the greatest compliment! We strive to make each piece of wedding stationery unique to each of our couples.
Now onto their incredible wedding day- Claire + Dave got married on a gorgeous September day at an estate in California. They started the day with yoga + ended the night busting a move on the dance floor. Their wedding day was full of so many unique + fun details! We created menus, escort cards, programs + signage for their big day and it was so fun to see it all in action! Claire + Dave even had temporary tattoos + corn hole boards created with their caricatures that we designed! These two are just too fun!
Enjoy all the fun details + personal touches from their stationery to their incredible wedding day! Thanks for allowing us to be part of your wedding planning process Claire + Dave!
