new yorkers love aspen. it's not hard to see why aspen is loveable, but for new yorkers - true city slickers - it's juxtaposition to their concrete jungle is astutely ironic. we wanted to create a design to play upon this notion. we called upon the aspen for design inspiration. the tree is as symbolic to the colorado aesthetic as its namesake, but ironically relatable to the style vibes of the east coast for its modern, styled + striking appearance. a little sophistication with gold foil, brass findings, + a high contrast textile wrap made this well rooted design an exciting first impression for a celebratory trip to aspen.
